General Meeting

There will be a general meeting of shed members at 10 am on Monday August 30. Items to discuss and confirm include electing a president, Secretary and Treasurer, membership, shed workplace procedures, safety, future projects and direction. If possible pleas attend and voice your opinion.

If you wish an agenda item to be added please advise Will Bradford.

The Mobile Men's Shed trailer went along to Dads Day Out In June. Their tissue box making activity was very popular and one hundred kits were nailed together by those in attendance on the day. Bruce and Guv have been busy with projects for the Neighbourhood Centre's Playgroup including a wooden garage and cars, a mobile sandpit and some blocks. Other recent projects have included a stand for the Lions Club Chocolate wheel and one hundred boomerangs which were headed for Camp Breakaway.

The Shed is open between 8am and 1 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays so come on down and check us out. Bring a project, bring a mate or just turn up with interest and enthusiasm. For stories, photos and news see the shed blog at http://sanremoshed.blogspot.com/

The buyers were arriving right on 8 am to check out the Garage Sale at the San Remo Community Men's Shed.

Organised on short notice but with a small notice in the press there was a constant stream of visitors during the morning.

Congratulations on the first of many selling opportunities.. !!

Shed Sign

The sign on the shed looks terrific ... hand made in The Shed it really identifies the Mens Shed to those visiting the area and embraces the community focus of this facility.
